What to Expect at Your First Visit
dentistry how it should be..
When you arrive at the office, our front desk staff will welcome you to the practice and assist in answering any questions you may have. We request that you plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled first visit. We will assist you in completing necessary documentation and help familiarize you with our office.
Dr. Novack will review your medical and dental history, determine the appropriate areas to exam and radiographs (x-rays) required. Typically, however, a comprehensive oral examination is recommended. This includes the taking of intra-oral digital pictures, jaw joint and muscular assessment, dental and periodontal (gum) evaluation and an oral cancer screening.
Following your examination, Dr. Novack will review her clinical findings in an informative manner, share photographs taken and utilize educational software to ensure you fully understand the status of your oral health. A personalized treatment plan including preventive measures and a maintenance protocol will be developed to enable you to achieve optimal and lasting oral health. New patients are then invited back for a complimentary consultation to review your treatment plan or answer any questions you may have. We pride ourselves on taking the time to educate our patients to enable you to make knowledge-based decisions you feel comfortable with regarding your dental oral health.
Our philosophy
In collaboration with our experienced certified dental team, we are devoted to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professional care. I view dental care as a partnership with each patient. Lasting oral health begins with education and requires prevention and maintenance to ensure patients look and feel their best.
Payment & Financing
Dental treatment is an investment in yours and your family’s dental and overall wellbeing. We are empathetic to the potential costs to restore you back to dental health. Our team is committed to assisting you in understanding your options, triaging your dental care and thereafter, coordinating with your dental insurance carrier. Payment plan options and financial arrangements are available in an effort to make treatment more affordable and approachable.
It is usual and customary for payment to be made when professional treatment is rendered. To reduce out of pocket expenditures, dental insurance claims are forwarded electronically to expedite reimbursement. For your convenience, we accept cash, major credit cards, debit/Interact and personal cheques.
